Share in a summer adventure at our upcoming Adventure Camps for refugee youth on July 14th and 15th! Take advantage of this unique opportunity to participate in a fun outdoor activity where you will get to meet and interact with young refugees ages 9-14 who have recently resettled in Greater Washington D.C area.

Volunteer

If you want to join the adventure but are not a fan of some of the activity (i.e. heights) we need you! We often have a few youth who are uncomfortable as well and so we encourage our “ground” leaders to interact with those campers as well as prepare meals.

What you can expect:

Volunteers might be asked to do the following things.

  • Engage with campers either during the activity or on the ground.
  • Ensure campers safety while attending the camp.
  • Prepare meals.
  • Make sure water is always available.

This camp is fully sponsored so there will be no cost for you to participate. We will have professional instructors to lead activities. You will be responsible for your own transportation.

Space is limited so applying online does not guarantee participation. After we review your application, you will be asked to complete additional forms to participate.
